The agreement

By using Prayer Up you agree to these terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to this app.

What the app is, and is not

Prayer Up is a personal practice and alarm app. It is not a medical device and it is not a substitute for medical, psychological or religious advice. If something in your life needs a doctor, a counsellor, or a clergyperson, please go to one.

Alarm reliability

Prayer Up uses Apple's system alarm framework so that alarms can sound even through silent mode and Focus. Even so, no alarm app can guarantee that a device will wake you — a phone that is switched off, out of battery, or has had permission withdrawn will not ring. Do not rely on this app alone for anything where failing to wake would be dangerous.

Content

The passages in the app are drawn from public-domain sources and from original reflections written for the app. They are offered respectfully, and are not presented as authoritative religious instruction. If you believe something is misattributed or misquoted, please write to us and it will be corrected.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its content.

Liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
